People are always bugging me because I don't update so this is what's new: 1. Cathy Kiraly and I are serious 2. WoW has taken over my life and won't let me be. 3. I still play DOTA hardcore 4. Going to see Radiohead with Nora this weekend. 5. I've graduated (technically) with in Science Psychology, minor Bio and Sociology 6. Retaking a class in the summer to boost my CGPA to GODLIKE 7. I have a full time job in the registrar's office and command a legion of phone minions 8. I still have my part time job 9. Rebekah is a wiener kid 10. Gen B is amazing... Silent Hill

Hey Just like to say that the Thursday meet up went very very well. I was surprised on how many people came. You can tell how surprised I was because I showed up late lol. OK so James McCarthy has asked me to do this: Everyone is invited to an un-unofficial St.Matt's reunion / gathering. Apparently he would like to see everyone (and anyone) from high school. So this is the official shout out to anyone and everyone who is from or ever stepped foot into St.Matt's or wants to come can show up on Thursday the 29th at the Broadway's near the Independent Grocer in Orleans. That's right! I'm posting. Holy Junker I haven't posted in forever. I think its mostly because I dont have anything to share with the likes of you :). I wonder if everyone who is at the end of their undergraduate days feels as tired as I do and procrastinates as much as I do. I know my essay is due thursday but I just don't feel like doing it. I'll just prolly bugger around till wednesday night and complete it at 9pm. I mean don't get me wrong, I enjoy Ultrasound detection in fish but I'd much rather do a million other things, like hit myself in the face till I can't move anymore. What else is new on the home front? Nothing, that's what is new. I find things are same old and stale while I sit here waiting for the end. Its like a metaphor for death I suppose, gotta move on after I'm done this round, but where to go and what to do? Some of us don't have jobs lined up from co-op or placement and some of us prefer to move away from good old bilingual Ottawa.. Computer Fun!
Wow I can't wait to find out the reason that its taken 1click2computers.com 2 weeks to not respond to my emails, ship me my damn stuff or even charge me. I can't wait to hear what exciting excuse they could come up with to NOT process my order when they are located in Ontario. Could it be that they are out of stock of the item? Wasn't mentioned on the site or my order. Maybe it actually takes 2 weeks to begin to think about processing? even though it clearly stated on my order that it ships in less than a week. Maybe they're complete fuck heads? Yes. I swear if they are just backlogged or waiting for a shipment to come in, its Manager time baby! What? didn't inform me that you were out of "said" product? BAMMMMMM, talk to the manager. People yell at me enough on the phone, I might as well share the love. Its like when a smile passes onto other people and then they share with others, except less cheesy and involves yelling. Huzzah! What do people not understand about sickness? When I tell someone "Sorry I can't make it, I have a terrible illness", why do they call me later and ask me why I can't go? OR Try to guilt me! I will pass on my disease to them! I think the worst part is that my sickness affects my voice so when they call I'm obviously raspy and coughing. Why ask the raspy man if he really is sick? Does it sound like I'm eating sunshine? I think not! Also in this sick, sick haze I've bought a couple of new games, which is something I haven't done in forever... Goldeneye: Rogue Agent $25 LOTR: The Third Age $25 God of War $35 Mmmmmmmmmm Something to keep me quite busy, also bought Dave Chapelle DVD's Season 1 & 2 for $50 which is a really good deal. Combining this with buying a 1 GB memory card for my PSP = Watching Tv at the Registrar's Office. Speaking of which, Unfortunately in the call center of 3 people, my other two coworkers were fired on friday because our jobs were made via the union to be student only jobs, so the two graduates were canned. This not only means that I lost two good, well trained and nice people with whom I worked with, but as well I get work along side two un-trained ladies which will give me a major head ache. I'll have idiot students on the phone ("Um How do I graduate?") and then I'll have two coworkers who will ask me whatever question is being asked of them on their calls ("Hey Matt, How does one graduate?") Karleton
Man I am sooo pissed right now at Carleton. Such a piece of shit school that must pride itself on misinforming or just not informing students of vital information. Soooo many people I know have not done their required third year classes for Psychology which allows them to do their fourth year thesis because Carleton just didn't bother telling them they need to apply to get into these course (only 20 per class at around 8 or 9 classes) or they tell them they need the classes but dont bother agian informing them that they need to literally fill out a form. What else? Oh apparently if they close the gym for a week, they dont post any information anywhere except for a sign infront of the door = classy. Also when you get there they mention you have to be registed into summer classes (= screwing over student for money) to get in which is a brand new thing. Ok I so register and show up and Oh wait I have to pay for those classes too, oops where's the info specifically about paying? So agian this is another Monday that I've wasted getting up early to work out and being denied by Carleton. Hmmmmmmmmmm oh here's a tip, don't believe anything Carleton administration tells you. I've been working in the Register's office here for two weeks and they either tell you completely wrong information, pass the buck to someone else who will tell you incorrect information or just simply tell you that there's nothing you can do. So the hint of the day is Look it up yourself and even then the posted info is wrong or inconsistant with the stuff I have. Best choice, dont try anything out of the ordinary.... Oh and my sympathies go out to the Ottawa U students who showed up arly last monday (at 6 am) to line up to wait for 3 to 4 hours and then be told they have to go home and wait till monday.. Updating
I was commanded by the powers that be to update my journal so here I go... Ok so what's new? Well Annie and I broke up which is sad. That's all I can really say about it. It happened and now we're off to find ourselves. It wasn't on the best of weeks with shitty things happening all during that week (20% assignment, 3X Finals, No Rez Fellow and $800 Fraud on my card). The point is that things are over and now its time to pick up the pieces and keep walking after the blast. For all those that watch Naruto, its kinda like the new opening where he just gets up and keeps on running. NARUTO!! On brighter skies, Whitney and I got that 20% assignment back and I got a 60% and she got a 63% and right in front of the Prof we just started laughing and couldn't stop. She had to usher us out because exams were going on and then we decided to just toss them in the garbage. It was shit, we both knew it and it amused us greatly. She also asked me how the exam went right in front of the Prof and I didnt have the heart to her Prof Pum Van Veldhoven and inform her that her exam was only difficult (50MC 5SA given in advance) because it was retarded in its ambiguity. Red Rabbits are A. Red, B. Rabbits or C. Red Rabbits. What else? I'm going to go meet Chantal today to study Psych 3000 which is our statistics class and hopefully raise my mark. I'm only getting around a 75% and usually I'd be happy but I'VE ALREADY TAKEN THE COURSE UNDER A DIFFERENT NUMBER. Oh the sadness. Ok what else? This summer I will be doing a vigourous excercise of working a full time job, part time job, 1.0 credits in summer school and trying to work out everyday. I think it'll work out just fine! Everyone loves incredible busy times! That will prolly mean I will want to travel to Toronto and Montreal to visit people from school and other friends. Nora this is a specific reference to you! Oh yeah! Keep off the Java!! Well good luck to everyone who has remaining exams and uh enjoy summer because its hot and women like to take off thier clothes when its hot.
